Basketball Shorts with pockets
At Keap Athletics we make the best basketball shorts with pockets and it's not even close. We studied the problem, put our 10,000 hours in, and made a pair of shorts that's worth your money.
It sucks when you have nowhere to put your stuff
Look we get it- when you're on the court no one needs to put anything in their basketball shorts. That doesn't mean pockets still can't be there. Basketball shorts without pockets just don't make sense for the average person and their stuff.
Perfectly designed pockets
It wasn't enough for our shorts to have pockets, they needed to have pockets that actually kept your stuff from falling out. No one in the history of forever has ever said "gee, I can't wait for my phone to fall out of my basketball shorts today"... seriously though, we googled it.
OPENS ON YOUR SIDE
Side pockets open in the exact spot your stuff naturally rests when you sit down.
Shallow pockets force your stuff to the opening of the pocket when you sit down.
Horizontally cut pockets angle away from where your stuff naturally sits, keeping it nice and secure.
Deep pockets move your stuff toward the bottom of the pocket when you sit down, keeping your stuff away from the opening of the pocket.

Frequently Asked QuestionS
The reason stuff doesn't stay in most athletic short pockets is actually quite simple, the vertically cut (or side) pockets open in the exact spot your stuff naturally sits giving it a path to the floor. Keap's horizontally cut pockets angle away from where your stuff naturally sits, keeping it nice and secure when you sit down.

Hell yea, brother.
Shipment speed varies by location, but generally takes 1-3 days.
Orders are shipped each day until 4pm EST, Monday through Friday, from our fulfillment center on the east coast. Any orders placed after 4pm EST, or on the weekends, will process the next business day.
We started experimenting with zippers early on when designing our shorts, but it was too annoying to constantly zip and unzip when pulling out our phone 1000x times per day out of our front pocket. We noticed that people tend to open their pocket and not re-zip them closed which caused them to still experience the problem.
Zippers are much better for back-pockets where you're not trying to go in and out of all the time.

We wanted to make sure that your stuff was always within your reach, so we measured where most peoples hands fall by their side and found that the average persons hands lie between 9 and 11 inches below their waist.
We tried velcro after using zippers, but it was too rough to touch and people couldn't stand the noise it made every time they opened their pocket. To make matters worse.. velcro often would close the pocket when people wouldn't want it closed and would require two hands to get their stuff.
